A Lil-Bit About It
At Lodge on the Point, our cottages include everything you need for a comfortable vacation with all the amenities you need for a stress free getaway “off grid”.
Even though we are unorganized and off grid, we are completely solar powered, so you will have access to all the usual amenities 24/7. But, we encourage guests to be mindful and avoid using “extras” like blow dryers, electronic devices, etc. as they use a lot of power. Our drinking water is pure H2O, ice cold and crystal clear just the way water should be. The lake is land locked with no contributories and sits at the top of Ontario. The lake is fed by more than 200 effervescent artesian springs.
Guests will enjoy fishing and swimming in Manitou Lake. We have a dock and entrance for swimming across from the main lodge. Plenty of space for your personal water craft.
In the evening, enjoy stargazing from your deck or head to the dock and enjoy the night sky from our Adirondack chairs.
At 3,000 square feet, the lodge is an ample, generous space that can comfortably accommodate 20+ people for gatherings of all kinds. The original cedar lodge has a commercial kitchen & dining addition that can easily accommodate larger families who want to prepare their own meals or prefer to have us to do the work and provide full service with chef and menu options. Our property is perfect for guests wanting a perfect balance of shared social spaces and very private accommodations.

The lodge is a wonderful, authentic 1945 cedar log building, with a modern commercial grade kitchen/dining addition. The lodge and its facilities can easily cater to 20+ guests. Please contact us to arrange full service options, book partial or full use of the facilities for family gatherings or small events.

A perfect view! Secluded, very private, spacious, three bedroom, original log and knotty pine cottage. Always cool being situated on the east shore of the peninsula, nestled in amongst old growth forest, waterfront.
